Long ago, in a land far far away...
In an era marked by profound musical ignorance, two of the worlds greatest bands, The Ramones and The Clash, in an unholy union of punk rock rebellion, produced an illegitimate musical offspring. Left abandoned and wailing on the cold stone steps of a monastery, this unfortunate child was adopted by a group of monks who had an odd fondness for noise. Raised in the sacred halls of silence, the musical child—unfamiliar with the tender nuances of conventional harmony—grew up learning strange ways. The monks, eager to instill their ancient wisdom, taught the child everything from obscure chants to the art of squinting in judgment. But in the end, it was the sounds of distortion, power chords and electronic noise that seeped into the child’s soul. This abandoned progeny, now hardened by years of monastic guidance and punk influences, emerged into the world with a new name: Gunnen. A broken being forged in the crucible of noise and silence, Gunnen works till this day to leave a peculiar mark on the world, whether it liked it or not.
